Call Making-- Building calls since 2001

Calls-- I make pot calls and would love to branch out with other calls as well but I have tried to stick with one thing and become good at it. The name of my calls is Sonshine Calls.

I came up with this name because as a turkey hunter or any type of hunter you can't help but feel God's presence in the wakening of the woods. The sun coming up over a hill or a tree top.

Strikers-- I like Osage orange and Padauk, and Purple Heart

Finish-- I play around with several finishes, but I usually end up with Tru-oil or a poly

Collecting-- I love to collect calls and have made many trades with the members of CCO.

Married-- I am married to Freda, a wonderful and understanding lady. You would have to be to listen to turkey calls 365 days a year!

Children-- Christan 23, Emily 19

Christian-- Yes, There is a scripture I like to put on my calls, it is Isaiah 55:6 " Seek the Lord and CALL upon him while he may be found"

How many calls per year-- It varies upon demand, but usually around 50 a year.
