Call Making- Building calls since 1995

Scratch box calls- favorite choice of wood for pots,

(Osage, walnut, bocote, maple).  

Strikers- (osage, purpleheart, rosewood)

Turned Yelpers- favorite choice of wood: bocote

Tree Yelpers- favorite choice of wood: bocote
Finish choice - water based poly, tung oil

Tools-mix of many

Collecting: yes mostly hunting grade calls
Married? yes for 9 years to wife Lee
 
Children? Yes, 1 daughter, Christina (three grandchildren) 1 son, Patrick. Step daughter Amanda, Step son, Jim
How many calls build per year? less than 30, been on hiatus since 2004, due to work, building a log home.

Other projects? two turkey hunting books out, one due out this spring, and another to be published in 2010

Real job? Yes, 30 years in the imaging business, former owner/partner of a hi-tech company. 12 years as a CMOS imager design & layout engineer. Currently named on 12 patents, 5 more currently under review.
